Das Megamax Containerschiff Ever Ace ist derzeit mit einer Containerstellplatzkapazität von knapp 24.000 TEU eines der größten Containerschiffe der Welt. Mit 24 Containerreihen nebeneinander kommt es auf eine Breite von 61,5 Metern. Gebaut wurde das Schiff bei Samsung Heavy Industries in Koje Island in Süd-Korea. Die Hauptmaschine ist ein Zweitaktmotor von Wärtsila mit 11 Zylindern. Mit seinen 96465 PS wird das Schiff auf eine Reisegeschwindigkeit von 22,6 Knoten beschleunigt. Quelle: Hafen Hamburg
