This is not normally the type of book that catches my attention, but I also knew Lee Miller worked as a war correspondent during WWII and I thought I’d give it a try since the library had a copy. The book paints a pretty detailed portrait of the war years and tells the story of Lee Miller and how she went from model to photographer and then to the famous war correspondent for Vogue Magazine. The book is filled with the fashion photos which made Lee Miller famous as well as the photo taken by a friend of hers showing Lee Miller taking a bath in Hitler’s tub in Berlin. I’m not quite to the end of the book yet, but it has been an interesting read.
