Last week, I was held up as an example of someone who could be offended by bad language LMAO, after a colleague had been scolded for swearing. This is after I'd inadvertently swore in front of my supervisor due to pain in my wrist. At the time I'd clapped my hand over my mouth and apologised as I thought she'd tell me off. They were ok about it, though to then hold me up as an example? Strange...

We had some merriment in work, despite admonishments. The one day, a colleague was a little down, no customers around, and some great music was playing so I proceeded to dance in the aisle lol. I surprise them sometimes. I surprise myself! Anyway, it cheered her up and made others laugh. I am old lol, and they expect me to not have a sense of humour.

The title: I like Monday. It's one of my days off, so what's not to like? My son stated I must be one of the few people who actually like Mondays, as for most, it's the start of their working week. Sunday is my 'Friday' and I'll usually have a small drink on Sunday as it's my last day of the week and time to unwind. I always sleep better Sunday night too, knowing I don't have to get up early. Not doing much today except housework. Tuesday I'll have my first physiotherapy session, assuming they don't cancel it, again.

This week there's a 4-day weekend to 'celebrate' 70 years rule by the Queen. Hmmm. I shall be working all through it, my choice. Some have asked for time off, and I'm more than happy to cover absences. I have a good amount of overtime booked, most of which will be paid at the increased rate due to bank holiday/Sunday. It all helps the coffers.

For those who have plans, I hope the weather is good and you enjoy it.
