After a wait of around 4 months, I finally had my X-ray as regular readers will know. I had to wait a further 9 days for the results which show I don’t have a break, nor a break that has healed itself. It may have been dislocated, though I suspect I inadvertently put it back in place by trying to close a window that is too high for me. It hurt like the devil! I have soft tissue damage, and they’ve stated I have osteoarthritis. Marvellous! I had hoped it was simply a break, as it could then be sorted, and I’d hopefully be pain free. I had a physio appointment soon, however they had to cancel that due to illness, and I now have to wait 6 weeks for a new appointment. In the meantime, I tried to get a GP appointment so I could sort out some pain meds, and to see what I should or shouldn’t be doing in work, however there are none available and I have to try again after Easter. What a shambles! Our illustrious leader, you know, the one who broke his own Covid laws, then lied about it, then stated he didn’t know he was breaking the law, he stated in the not too distant past that the NHS would receive millions once Brexit was done. In reality, I fear that he and the nasty party are determined to bring our NHS to its knees in readiness for privatisation. Then God help you if you don’t have much money!

The weather has improved somewhat in that it’s warmer now though it has been damp, on and off. Warmer is good.

Several people are off work with Covid, some of whom were socialising in the canteen. Call me antisocial, lol, but I don’t socialise. I keep my distance. I keep to myself. I try to social distance. Seems the best way at this time, to keep healthy and safe.

Work has been busy, lots of customers in the store. I’m working Good Friday and expect the store to be heaving, though we are closed on Easter Sunday which is great. It’ll be so nice to have a Sunday off, and we’re having a nice roast beef dinner with half price beef, so many meat offers at the moment. In less than 3 weeks’ time I’ll have a week off. I’m going to do my utmost not to take on any extra work, and just enjoy a nice long break; my body needs it.

That’s about it. Not much going on. Have a lovely Easter!
