Pictures of and about Bins, Skips, Dumpsters and other large rubbish receptacles. Pretty much anything bin related is ok as long as it doesn't involve naked people. Pictures which stray too far from the subject matter may be removed from the group. Feathers protect birds from water and cold, and also provide them with color that serves both as camouflage against predators and as a means of visual communication. In addition, they give the bird its shape and support its ability to fly. Although a single feather is extremely light, a bird's plumage weighs about twice as much as its skeleton.

World Photography Day is an annual, worldwide celebration of the art, craft, science and history of photography.
This group is a place for ipernity club members to participate in that celebration by sharing what they consider their best photo, their most special photo, the photo that means the most to them taken on August 19th.
