About depscribe club

I write stories and books and make pictures for a living. So if you see one of my pictures elsewhere, please let me know. It might be there with permission, but it might not.

The pictures (and articles, when I get some up) are all available for license. Send inquiries to dep[apetail]drippingwithirony.com. You know what to substitute for [apetail]. I should also note, inasmuch as this is my profession, that I am available for assignments in Ohio, West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, and if the assignment requires it and if it is negotiated, pretty much anywhere else.

NOTE TO THIEVES: Use of any of my content without my written permission constitutes an agreement to pay me a use fee of $500 per image per use or day, whichever is higher, with the possibility of even higher charges should litigation be required. "Use" means employing an image or a screenshot including one or more images in print, in broadcast, on the Internet, or in any other way other than viewing it here in my Ipernity site. So if you wish to use one of more pictures, it will almost certainly be cheaper to ask me first.

I should note that many of the photographs here are scans of negatives and transparencies. This means that the date shown for those pictures is not the date on which the picture was taken but instead the date on which it was uploaded.

It is worth mentioning, too, that I don't make a habit of marking people's pictures as favorites of mine, because there would simply be too many. Instead, when I especially like the work of artists here, I make them contacts -- and instead of looking for my favorites, I urge you to select one of my contacts and spend some time with his or her work. You'll be better for the experience.

When I make a contact, by the way, it's as a friend -- why would I want a contact who I do not think of or wish to have as a friend? But all my pictures are available to everyone, anyway.

Wow -- ipernity -- what a cool place to be! Thanks to the ipernity people and the people who populate ipernity. The best thing about that other place going all pear-shaped is that if it hadn't happened I probably would never have discovered this glorious place!
