This group is dedicated to photos taken with rangefinder lenses that were produced not later than the fifties. (The camera, of course, may well be newer!) What some people might regards as faults - lack of sharp definition, proneness to flare, and other things - are in our sense features that give the photos taken with these lenses a unique flair.

I've just come over from Flickr, and decided to start a new group where a few of my Flickr refugee street photographer friends might be able to settle in and feel comfortable. But of course all are welcome! Contributors may post up to three color or black and white photographs daily.
Pictures of places which are shut up as it isn't the holiday season or because the weather is too wintry.
Please note that both the feeling of CLOSED (or unusable) and of WINTER are needed and not just one of the two.
