Oxley Winery carefully tracks the weather... this stone tells all. If wet - it's raining If icy - it's cold ... you get the drift... ;-) They did note, however, it was a perfect tornado alert - if this rock is swinging, you are in trouble!

Viewpoint Winery will be on my "return" list - for the spectacular view off the bluffs and across the lake, as well as good wine.

North 42 Degrees ( a geographic reference!) was a fun winery - small and friendly, witha great jazz band and excellent wine. ... and as they are next-door neighbors with Serenity Lavender Farm, I'm sure to be back!

They shared our table, chatted about the wine and enjoyed the jazz band... Everyone we met along the way was really having a great time.
