the Beauty of Nature is sometimes in a small bird
my Blue Tit chick brightened up the news broadcast on my birthday, it brightened my day. It was a fun birthday because I didn't expect it at all, because it was so unexpected, it was still special for me, worth repeating of course

Kuukelekuuuuuuuuuuuu by Rooster Leading the way
| 01 Oct 2023 | | | |
On Sunday morning 5 roosters make noise to wake up the whole village! It's time to get up to make a beautiful day of it otherwise the sun shines for nothing! What a waste, everything turns grey in winter, we get so little sunlight then we should now take advantage of it. Please enjoy it while you can!

Sunflowers have become more beloved because of Vincent van Gogh's beautiful paintings. The sunflower is one of my favourites for a beautiful photo of it surrounded in everyday life

Fuchsia Rose Thimbles in Indian Summer
| 01 Oct 2023 | | | |
    Vingerhoedskruid ~ Digitalis purpurea
after the shape of the flowers, which resembles a thimble. Other common names are: pipe head, doll's shoe, judas purse and snake flower
Oudenwijvenzomer ~ Été de la Saint-Martin ~ Indian Summer ~ Altweibersommer
Indians often went hunting. Animals were in fact more active due to the warm weather. Moreover, during Indian Summer, early mornings often involved fog, which made hunting easier. After all, animals did not see people coming through the fog
people want a garden that is pleasant to spend time in the future, protected from heat and excessive rain

 Aurora borealis in my Hometown
| 24 Oct 2023 | | | |
Not the familiar green aurora or Northern Lights in Northern Europe... but rather a rose reddish glow in the Flemish sky in the Benelux. We owe this rare beautiful red natural phenomenon to a solar storm combined with clear weather. Here in Belgium, we see it occasionally in clear skies and there is a chance we will see it more and more often. I like the fact that I was able to capture it in photo anyway. Soon, anyone can come and see this red natural phenomenon when it is more prevalent~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On Thursday November 2nd 2023, bomb cyclone Ciarán raced through Flanders with gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour and wreaked havoc on these tree silhouettes, the middle tree was demolished by Storm Ciarán, the silver birch with a birdhouse is cleaved to the middle and for now it lies over the greenhouse. It will be an occupation to remove the whole tree, they are 2 cosy ones who were amused by the Sky
October breaks global heat record: 2023 is almost certainly warmest year since measurements began

an Eye on you through Today's Window on the World
| 02 Jun 2023 | | | |
In May all birds lay an egg, well this is a blue tit chick in the bird's nest, one with a silver smile. It sat still and looked curiously ahead, it was not afraid at all. The next day it was gone to conquer the air...
After a busy day and after dinner time I like to sit outside in the garden for a bit, it's all chirping just witty. In the blue sky white clouds with a breeze they are soon gone, still there is the wave of heat the sun that has been shining all day, I am happy when the sun is there because after all that rain comes sunshine, the rain is sometimes unstoppable with landslides contrasting with the persistent drought

 Visiting my next~door neighbour Mathilde
| 03 May 2023 | | | |
My neighbour Mathilde invited me to come over and to have a chat with her, a pleasant conversation about the past and what it has become now, on March the 30th she became 94 years young time to honour her, she was a close friend of my beloved grandmother Maria, I still miss her very much every day until now with a lot of pain in my heart. I still think of my beloved grandmother every day, she was the crown of the family that kept everyone together, very wise lady who keeps in touch with everyone, she is much loved here
