Spitfire over Datchworth (5)
| 29 Aug 2011 |
|
I was working near Watton-at-Stone when the distinctive sound of a Merlin engine growled over the Hertfordshire countryside. The Spit was given a flying show somewhere over Datchworth way, doing loops, diving and so forth. Sadly I was too far away but managed a few snaps using my Pentax K20D and a SMC Pentax 'K' 300mm f/4 lens.
