I had another go at these earlier today and I'm much happier with the results this time round.
Captured in natural light, using a sheet of coloured card as a background and some tiny paper daisies. The water droplets are sitting on top of a sheet of glass.

Taken in my garden, just after watering (hence the water droplets). Please don't ask me what type of geranium this is.........there are so many different (and similar) varieties. I have several types in the garden and they are great for ground cover (the bees love them too). They come up year after year.

When I took this photo of a rose it looked OK on the camera screen, but when I looked at it on my iMac it was a bit tatty round the edges. I decided to crop in for the detail instead and I'm quite impressed with how it looks, especially as I wasn't using a macro lens. Just goes to show that you shouldn't delete anything until you've checked it out on your computer!
