Taken in my local park. Having been away for a few days, I shall attempt to catch up with everyone as soon as I can. I shall try and keep my comments short and to the point..!!

A captured during my walk in Staunton Park recently. I wasn't able to get too close to it so these are cropped. Best viewed large on black.

Taken in my garden through the double glazing. It was collecting and eating sycamore seed head from between the gravel. There are another three images in the PiPs if you are interested. I hope you've all had a nice May Day!

Another look at one of our visiting squirrels stealing food from the birds feeding tray, which is situated only a few feet outside our living room window. This was photographed in nice light through a pretty dirty double glazed window but I quite like the way it's turned out. Try viewing large.

Taken in my garden. This lovely squirrel is a regular visitor and can often be seen checking out the bird food table and feeders to see if there are any left-overs!

Taken in really bright sunlight in Victoria Park, Portsmouth. It was eating a monkey nut given too it by a passer-by. Best viewed large, I think. Thanks for looking.

Taken yesterday in West Dean Gardens Nr Chichester, West Sussex. This is quite a heavy crop as it was a little far away from me. Better viewed large. Thanks for looking!

A friendly grey squirrel............taken near the Southsea Rose Gardens.

A grey squirrel on the peanut feeder in my garden. I have to use a stainless steel feeder as they chew through the usual wire mesh one in a day or so! These were taken through the double glazing in my living room on a gloomy day, so the quality is not brilliant, but sufficiently good for sharing online (and hopefully making you smile)! There are 4 more images in the PiPs if you're interested but feel free to ignore them and move on :-))

Taken in my garden - shooting through the double glazed window in my living room. We actually use a feeder made for sunflower hearts, as the squirrels manage to chew through anything made from wood, wire or plastic!

He's eaten all the sunflower hearts we put out for the birds and now he's thirsty. There are now four squirrels visiting the garden and we're gonna need more seed and peanuts!

Actually there are 3 Alberts who live in a dray in my garden and I can't tell them apart. They spend ages sorting out the sunflower seeds from amongst the mixed seed we put out for the birds.
