Taken using my car as a hide.........shooting through the open window. It was a difficult shot to get.........we were parked up next to an ice-cream stall and I nearly dropped my ice-cream cone grabbing my camera from the floor of the car -)))

A Jackdaw looking for food at the side of the road. Jackdaws are the smallest member of the crow family (collectively known as corvids), which also includes ravens, crows, rooks, jays and magpies.

This was taken at the Heath Pond, Petersfield in Hampshire. This crow was stealing the food being fed to the ducks and had grabbed so many duck pellets that his crop was all swollen and it couldn't even fully close its beak! If you view large you can see the pellets in his beak, which he was unable to swallow :-))

Today I thought I'd post a post............with a Crow sitting on it :-)) Taken at Hayling Island, Hampshire in a car park adjacent to the beach, using my car as a hide. I think it's best seen full screen........

Please view large..........thanks for looking :-) Taken using my 40-150mm lens at 150mm with a 1.4 teleconverter.........giving me a reach of 210mm. I was shooting from inside my car which acted as a hide.
