Er ist also ein nützlicher Helfer im Ökosystem.Trotz der kurzen Deckflügel sind diese Käfer voll flugfähig. Ihre großen Hinterflügel sind kunstvoll unter den kleinen glänzenden Decken gefaltet und können bei Bedarf blitzschnell entfaltet werden.
