Sunday Challenge: Take a photo of something that you have in your bathroom. It can be a fixture, a faucet, a soap bubble, an objet d'art, tile or even yourself coming out of the shower, provided that it is family friendly. You can make make it a more interesting photo by shooting it at an angle or shooting only a portion of the object to emphasize its shape. Get creative and show what you can do with a mundane topic. Our shower surround is made out of frosted, textured glass. This provided an opportunity for an unusual portrait without the need for computer manipulation. Prostitution in Quito, Ecuador is legal. This woman told me that since it became legal, women have been able to unionize and look out for each other. They do not need johns or pimps for protection. They are not hassled by corrupt police looking for favors to prevent arrest. They are required to have health screenings on a regular basis. They feel much safer and do not feel like marginalized citizens. AIMG 0548
