Shot in 720nm infrared, desaturated in the GIMP because it looked as if there is a faint color hotspot in the picture. I have to remember to move the aperture off of "auto" to f8 or f11 to avoid this. But I'm happy with this picture of a favorite field in monochrome.

I think that stuff grows as fast as I can walk. At least here it makes itself useful.

Shooting at 850nm produces a black-and-white picture, so there's no need to channel swap in processing. But it is often useful to raound off the edges a little by bringing down the highlights and boosting the shadows a bit. Turns out, there's space in both.

I'd forgotten that I owned the Fujifilm 18-135mm lens, and the 850nm filter mounted on it. So I went poking around outside, seeing whether it worked satisfactorily. You decide.
