Diese makellose Lotusblüte fand ich im Botanischen Garten auf der Isola Madre, einer Insel im Lago Maggiore. Dieser Garten gehört zu den ältesten Botanischen Gärten Italiens und verfügt über ein günstiges Mikroklima für das Wachstum von Glyzinien, seltenen subtropischen Pflanzen, exotischen Blumen und buntschillernden Vögeln;nicht selten befindet man sich inmitten bunter Papageien, chinesischer Fasanen oder eleganter Pfauen mit hellen Federn. Durch alle diese Dinge und die Sorgfalt, mit der dieses Ambiente bewahrt wird, hat man den Eindruck, sich in einem tropischen Gebiet zu befinden. Sehr empfehlenswert!
