posted to SC178 - Nursery Rhyme. Baa, Baa Black Sheep applies - the younger ones are very black, but go a bit grey with age. Small flock of Soay ewes, no lambs this year [2023], despite their being - officially - a rare breed. They responded to a "come and get it" call, but were disappointed we didn't have any sheep nuts ! [including the white one, she was sired by a local non-soay tup, hence her horns & fleece colour].
