A nice lineup at Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum. From the left are ARD 676, Reading Corporation Transport AEC661T Park Royal trolleybus of 1938/39, Huddersfield Corporation Sunbeam S7A trolleybus PVH 931, new in 1959, and 297 LJ, Bournemouth Corporation 1962 Sunbeam MF2B / Weymann 65-seater.

This corrugated iron house was built by contractors Wills & Reeve to house workers on the construction of Immingham Dock which began in 1906. This example was eventually removed to the Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum where it now houses the transport toy exhibits.

Former London Transport trolleybus 1812 takes a corner on the circuit at Sandtoft museum. This bus entered service in 1948 at Fulwell depot and operated until 1961 when it was sold to Spain and used on the Santander network, It was purchased by the British Trolleybus Society returned to the UK in 1977 and has seen much restoration including fitting new differentials for the rear axles.

Memories of Manchester's trolleybuses as BUT built ONE 744 stands at Sandtoft Museum purporting to be running on the 218 service to Ashton-under-Lyne from Manchester Piccadilly. I remember seeing these trolleybuses operating in the early 1960s and it was great to have a ride on this one.
