Lots of corrugated iron on this barn at Boscombe in Wiltshire. The staddle stones are pretty impressive too.

A wooden ram was placed above this shop in Salisbury when it was used by Stonehenge Woollen Industries in the early 20th century. The business was established by Catherine Lovibond, with the aim of regenerating the rural economy and lasted until 1959. The ram was renewed by Salisbury Civic Society in 2013.

Malmesbury is situated on the edge of the Cotswolds and is almost entirely built of local stone. This makes the Old Library, 44 High St, stand out as something completely incongruous. The brick frontage with terracotta decoration is dated 1901. It seems very strange to introduce such alien materials on the High Street of such a picturesque town.

This water tower in the Parish of Charlton, east of Malmesbury is surprisingly unpolluted by aerials and dishes.

No longer loved and now shedding roofing sheets is this Wiltshire barn. The plate on the end reads 'F. H. Dale builder Leominster'.
