Thanks to the wonders of international trade, we can have goods from the other side of the world. Toko is a shop selling food and products from Asia (and/or Surinam). The word came via in the Dutch East Indies/Indonesia, there it means shop in general, it can be modified for specific shops. The word apparently comes from the Chinese. The Dutch dictionary says: “Originally probably a Chinese word (t'u-k'u, dial. Amoy t'ó-k'ò) meaning ‘kind of cellar’, ‘storage place’ and hence applied by Chinese merchants to a shop connected to it.”

Beer delivery

Deliveries are done by ship and then by handcart.

Italian cities and towns have many small streets, but that doesn't prevent cars and trucks from driving around.

Powered by a 80 kW diesel engine. Used by the Dutch Post Office.
