Naturalis Biodiversity Center is the museum of natural history and research centre on biodiversity. It has a collection of about 37,000,000 specimens.
Naturalis has recently acquired a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton, that will be the first T.rex skeleton to be held in Europe.

Wolfgang von Schleinitz was a very beautiful man, but he stipulated that he should be depicted as he looked after several weeks under the ground, so that he wouldn't feel proud.
St. Afra Church. The church dates from 984. From 1205 it became part of a cloister until the cloister was dissolved in 1540. The church became Lutheran. The cloister buildings were turned into a school.
