The old mill is a tidal mill built in 1793, the building is now used for holiday accommodation.

Even though this derelict old pier may not look like much it is an historic artifact. Part of the fort Victoria sea defence it once had torpedo tubes under it. Don't be fooled by the name Fort Victoria as all there is are a few remains, mainly some red brick arches. Situated in the west of the I.o.Wight

Freshwater bay on a sunny day

Freshwater bay on the Isle of Wight is my most favourite view, the cliffs and downs in the distance are called Tennyson downs after the poet Alfred Lord Tennyson who lived just a short distance from the bay.

The causeway edited with HDR, a very peaceful place you can see the church bell tower in the background and a house to the left of the frame.
