As part of our group activities during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta in 2015, we trained to be assistants to balloon pilots. The training took place at an elementary school in Albuquerque, so we not only learned about the balloon operations, but the school children got a close-up look at the balloon. We attended the 2015 Balloon Fiesta, boondocking in our motorhome. Every night the Fiesta had a fireworks show. This was taken with the Nikon D700, trying to get the exposure just right. This is some "night" shot for the Sunday Challenge. Without the fireworks, the photo would probably be all black...
