I put the older Sigma 70-300 macro lens on my Nikon D700, and wandered around downtown Ogden, Utah. They were having a street fair and farmers' market, so there were plenty of subjects. We were entering Sydney Harbor at night, and the sights were remarkable. The illuminated sign for Luna Park is famous, and well worth a picture. (Some people thinks it's kinda creepy) For the Sunday Challenge, this is very definitely a "type" of architecture. Note the towers on the sides of the face, they look very much like the Chrysler Building in New York. Taken with the Nikon D700 at high ISO. Taken at Bluff Cove in the Falklands. The managers there told us to not cross the rope line between the pathway and the rookery. However, the penguins decided to ignore the barrier, and we got a lot of good closeups. Nikon D700

I was walking on the beach in Bluff Cove and saw a group of penguins arriving from the sea. They arrived, saw me there, and started to walk quickly along the shoreline. I just stood where I was, and took lots of photos. Nikon D700

This dog was relaxing near the port of Nanortalik, while we walked around the area. The cruise ship Veendam can be seen in the background. I've added this to the Sunday Challenge for 1 January 2023. Our cruise ship was in the main harbor in Malta. We enjoyed visiting this very interesting area, and the ship was just about to leave, when I noticed that many of the main landmarks were illuminated. (Seems like plenty of shadows to complement the lighted areas, per the Sunday Challenge.) Took several shots, using the high ISO capability of the Nikon D700. Image processed with GIMP.
