➽ Fragile ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ ♩ ♬ ___________________________________________ ➽ Fragiles Leben, Skulptur der lokalen Künstlerin Marianna Haas an der Wertach Spazieren gehen und dabei Kunst entdecken, die Idee des Projekts WertArt wurde vergangenes Jahr im Corona-Sommer geboren und fand heuer nun zum 2. Mal statt. In der kulturarmen Zeit sollte die Kunst zu den Leuten gebracht werden. Als Ort für die Ausstellung wurde der Spazierweg an der Wertach auserkoren und an insgesamt 20 Stationen konnte man die Werke betrachten. ___________________________________________ ➽ Fragile life, sculpture by the local artist Marianna Haas at the River Wertach Going for a walk and discovering art in the process, the idea of the WertArt project was born in the Corona summer last year and took place for the second time this year. In the culture-poor time, art should be brought to the people. The path along the River Wertach was chosen as the location for the exhibition and the works could be viewed at a total of 20 stations. __________________________________________ ➽ One could also have built a fence out of it - so HFF and a great WE to all! Zufällig in den Tiefen meines Archivs gefunden, eines meiner ersten Zaunfotos, gemacht lange bevor ich von HFF wußte. Im Zuge der Renaturierung der Wertach mussten einige Schrebergärten platt gemacht werden. Im Winter 2010 stand am Wertachdamm nur noch dieses einsame Tor. _______________________________ Randomly found in the depths of my archive, one of my first fence photos, taken long before I knew about HFF. In the course of renaturation of the River Wertach some allotment gardens had to be demolished. In the winter of 2010 only this lonely gate remained on the Wertach dam. _______________________________ ➽ HFF and a great first WE in 2019!

➽ The Sunday Challenge (TSC) - leading lines there ya go hopefully easy, process as you please... - see another example in the note! ___________________ ➽ Beim Jahrhunderthochwasser im Jahr 1999 wurde die südliche Brücke über die Wertach durch am Mittelpfeiler hängengebliebenes Treibgut stark beschädigt. Als am 23. Mai 1999 das flussaufwärts befindliche Gögginger Ackermann-Wehr einstürzte und das Hochwasser außer Kontrolle geriet, ließ die Stadt Augsburg aus Hochwasserschutzgründen die Brücke sofort abbauen. Bei einem Einsturz der Brücke wäre der gesamte Flusslauf blockiert worden, so dass sich der Fluss noch mehr aufgestaut hätte. Wenige Monate später errichtete die AL Augsburger Localbahn GmbH mit einem Zuschuß der Stadt Augsburg eine neue Brücke, diesmal ohne Mittelpfeiler. __________________ ➽ While flood of the century in 1999, the southern bridge over the Wertach was badly damaged by hang retarded flotsam at the central pillar. As on 23th. May 1999, the upstream located Gögginger Ackermann weir collapsed and the flood got out of control, prompted the City of Augsburg because of flood protection reasons, to dismantle the bridge immediately. In case of a collapse of the bridge the entire river would been blocked by flotsam, so that the river would been dammed even more. A few months later, the AL Augsburger Localbahn GmbH (Local Railway company) has built with a grant from the city of Augsburg, a new bridge, this time without a central pillar.

Sie betreibt als Eisenbahninfrastrukturunternehmen ein Gleisnetz von 41 Kilometer Länge im Augsburger Stadtgebiet (Augsburger Ringbahn), das die Industriegebiete in den Stadtteilen Haunstetten, Lechhausen und Göggingen erschließt und zu dem ein sehr kleiner Rangierbahnhof gehört. The company operates as a railway infrastructure company, a rail network of 41 kilometers in the city of Augsburg (Augsburg circle line), which opens up the industrial areas in the districts Haunstetten, Lechhausen and Göggingen.
