Hello, I`m really surprised to find a lot of shots here, far away from "street photography".
I was owner of "street photography"- group in PANORAMIO.
Google decided to close our platform. So 16.000 "street" shots will go lost in space ...
But - if needed - we bring our definition with us ....
The term »street photography« stands for an unvarnished, authentic photograph of everyday scenes - scenes that show people engaged in normal activities, but reveal an interesting perspective or tell a story. To recognize such scenes, to anticipate and capture the image - which is a demanding photographic task - a trained eye, human sympathy and high concentration on one hand, technical skills in using the camera and a rapid response on the other hand, are required.
