There is a good mix of hotel accommodation in Cambridge ....... at the top end, the De Vere University Arms is a great place - expensive but very comfortable. The Crowne Plaza is central and medium price range. The Royal Cambridge Hotel is well-located and reasonably priced. ditto, The Regent Hotel. There are also many bed and breakfast places.
