The ‘Tempo’ is probably the most famous of all three-wheelers.
The Tempo factory of Vidal & Sohn is located in Bostelbek, a district of Hamburg, and even had its own railway station until the construction of the S-Bahn line S 31. The factory is still there today, albeit with a massive extension and a star on the roof.
In the 1980s, a technology park, the HIT, was founded in the neighbourhood. At a place where Vidal was still repairing Tempos long after the takeover by Hanomag. The access road… (see more)
