About this group
This group is for photographs taken in a street. But not only in a street, pretty much anywhere that is a public space. The group is supposed to be limited to photographs taken in the UK, but since it's not always possible to tell, the enforcement action tends to be slack.
Street photography is not well defined and anyway it keeps being redefined - for example, we thought we knew what it was until Garry Winogrand came along and changed our perception. But there are some generally accepted things… (see more)
