Group: misplaced flickrites
stand alone
I would like to add a new album of a different category. However when I do this the new pictures appear on 'latest photo's'. along with my main collection.
What I imagined would happen or would have liked was to have my new album to be on its own page along with it's own 'latest photo's' as a stand alone page is this possible am I missing something.

What you like to do wasn´t possible (and wasn´t at flickr as far as I know). At last it would be mutually contradictory to this so called "You last photos".
Well, you could remove this "Latest photos"- block from your personal homepage (as long this was possible? Don´t know if this was an optional block on userhomepages) and make a new album with all items in it in the order which you would prefer and show just the last added album on your homepage as a block but that looks like a lot of work but I couldn´t imagine another workaround for that what you would like to do.
