Flickr has become a huge photo repository. I do not feel very good there. Here, at Ipernity, there is still a regular server dedicated to photography. I think I like it.

A few days have passed since I started committing images to ipernity. It remains a haven from a Flickr which might not yet have stopped changing but those few days have been long enough to raise a few minor concerns. The lack of views is very tough after the breadth of the Flickr community. I have been on Flickr for four years. Yesterday, while browsing I discovered Ipernity. What made my mind was the fact that it allowed some sort of blogging. I have tried several solutions : tumblr , wordpress etc. I think Ipernity offers a new way, I will try to explore. It is not impossible that I will shut down some of my previous attempts if this new experience happens to be conclusive.

When I saw this function in ipernity, I did not really know what to do with it as I already have a well-followed blog. I have now decided but reserve the right to change my mind. My 'articles' will be primarily about ipernity itself and my experiences there. Additionally, when an album deserves an accompanying article in addition to the album description, I shall write something which will be enthralling or a cure for insomnia, as you wish.

Ich habe mich mal kurzzeitig mit einem zweiten Account angemeldet um die Unterschiede zwischen Club und Nichtclub zu testen und bin auf ein absolutes NO GO gestossen :-( Es wird zwar kräftigst bemängelt, dass Nichtclub-Mitglieder ihre eigenen Fotos nicht mehr runterladen können, aber dafür dürfen sie sich bei jedem Clubmitglied bedienen.
