My smartwatch... it amuses me, I can see my favourite photos, it tells me off if I don't exercise enough, I can answer a call without picking up the smartphone...

Well... I mean... I usually would have shot the buganvilea and not the bin... so that is what is unusual there !!!

I have 2 football clubs I love: the Farense, who struggles on league 2 to climb up again. My youth club, regional. And the Sporting Clube de Portugal, National Football Champion 2021... after a 19 years "diet" !!!! This tile is in my house uphills on the entrance, I just postprocessed to have a matching green backgroung instead of the white wall. Unexpected, hey? I presume you were thinking I would contribute with a vegetal motive...

I LOVED THE PIP BETTER, BUT THE COMPLEMENTARY WAS NOT SO "CLEAN". TODAY I WILL BE ON THE ROAD ALL DAY, A COLD NORTH WIND WILL LOWER TEMPERATURES DOWN TO 20-25ºC, SO I TAKE THIS LAST OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT A FORTIFIED TOWN 3 HOURS DRIVE FROM MY PLACE, IN DRY SEASON MONTHS TEMPERATURES DON'T ALLOW MUCH VISITING. As this is a challenge and not a competition I chose the second option... this came to me as an evidence when I woke up and looked through my door-window to the balcony, this is shot from my bed... and don't call me lazy !!!!

FILL THE FRAME FOR TSC - PIP ABOVE Some people believe that certain objects choose you. This is the case in Africa. When I lived in Senegal a neighbour who had a souvenir shop insisted that I should come and see because he had an object that had been waiting for me forever. I was used to the speeches of the souvenir sellers and I didn't care, always answering with a smile: one of these days. A few months later I gave in to his repeated insistence because I wanted to send some gifts for the office in Europe. I followed him inside the shop, it was almost completely dark and I saw it, I immediately felt a connection between that mask and me, something I cannot explain but which still gives me goose bumps. I chose objects, discussed the price, without looking especially in the direction of this mask whose call I felt so deeply. I was about to leave when the man told me that I had forgotten to take my gift, which had been waiting for me for years... and he went to pick up this mask, the one that "spoke to me". For a long time I wondered what was the magic part of all this, how the man knew, as I was behind him when he entered his shop, he could not have seen me looking at the mask... Since then I have simply accepted that some things are beyond us, and that we must have the humility to accept them. ---- FR Certaines personnes croient que certains objets vous choisissent. C'est le cas en Afrique. Lorsque j'habitais au Sénégal, un voisin qui avait un magasin de souvenirs insistait pour que je vienne le voir car il avait un objet qui m'attendait depuis toujours. J'étais habitué aux discours des vendeurs de souvenirs et je ne donnais pas attention, répondant toujours par un sourire : un de ces jours. Quelques mois plus tard, j'ai cédé à son insistance répétée parce que je voulais envoyer quelques cadeaux pour le bureau en Europe. Je l'ai suivi à l'intérieur du magasin, il faisait presque complètement noir et je l'ai vu, j'ai immédiatement senti une connexion entre ce masque et moi, quelque chose que je ne peux pas expliquer mais qui me donne encore la chair de poule. J'ai choisi des objets, discuté du prix, sans regarder spécialement dans la direction de ce masque dont je ressentais si profondément l'appel. J'étais sur le point de partir quand l'homme m'a dit que j'avais oublié de prendre mon cadeau, qui m'attendait depuis des années... et il est allé chercher ce masque, celui qui "me parlait". Pendant longtemps, je me suis demandé ce qu'il y avait de magique dans tout cela, comment l'homme savait, puisque j'étais derrière lui quand il est entré dans sa boutique, il ne pouvait pas m'avoir vu regarder le masque... Depuis, j'ai simplement accepté que certaines choses nous dépassent, et qu'il faut avoir l'humilité de les accepter. DE Manche Menschen glauben, dass bestimmte Gegenstände einen auswählen. Als ich im Senegal lebte, bestand ein Nachbar, der einen Souvenirladen hatte, darauf, dass ich vorbeikommen sollte, weil er ein Objekt hatte, das schon ewig auf mich gewartet hatte. Ich war an die Reden der Souvenirverkäufer gewöhnt und es war mir egal, ich antwortete immer mit einem Lächeln: eines Tages. Ein paar Monate später gab ich seinem wiederholten Drängen nach, weil ich einige Geschenke für das Büro in Europa schicken wollte. Ich folgte ihm ins Innere des Ladens, es war fast völlig dunkel und ich sah es, ich spürte sofort eine Verbindung zwischen dieser Maske und mir, etwas, das ich nicht erklären kann, das mir aber immer noch eine Gänsehaut beschert. Ich wählte Gegenstände aus, diskutierte den Preis, ohne besonders in die Richtung dieser Maske zu schauen, deren Ruf ich so tief spürte. Ich wollte gerade gehen, als der Mann mir sagte, dass ich vergessen hatte, mein Geschenk mitzunehmen, das schon seit Jahren auf mich wartete... und er ging, um diese Maske zu holen, diejenige, die "zu mir sprach". Lange Zeit fragte ich mich, was das Magische daran war, woher der Mann das wusste, da ich hinter ihm stand, als er seinen Laden betrat, er konnte nicht gesehen haben, wie ich die Maske ansah... Seitdem habe ich einfach akzeptiert, dass manche Dinge jenseits von uns sind, und dass wir die Demut haben müssen, sie zu akzeptieren.

Das aus Pflanzen der Familie der Apocynaceae (z.B. Strophantus sarmentosus) gewonnene Strophantin ist ein kardiotonisches Heterosid, ähnlich wie Digitalis und Ouabain. Früher in der Medizin verwendet, wurde Strophantin wegen seiner hohen Toxizität aufgegeben. +++++++++ Peut-être l'objet le plus dangereux chez moi. Pas de poison liquide mais des restes secs à l'intérieur. Fiole pour poison de flèches vraisemblablement originaire de Côte d’Ivoire. Les flèches empoisonnées étaient utilisées e Afrique, Amérique du Sud et Asie par les populations de chasseurs-cueilleurs. En Afrique de l’Ouest la strophantine est le poison le plus fréquemment utilisé. Extraite de plantes de la famille des Apocynacées (Strophantus sarmentosus par exemple) la strophantine est un hétéroside cardiotonique voisin de la digitaline et de l’ouabaïne.
