Sorry but I don't remember the exact location, maybe close to border Mauritania's or Mali.

And me... almost 40 years ago. Is a root considered a bench...? Well, it can be used as one !

I lived in Africa in the 1980s... can't tell how much I miss my life there in humanitary mission... can't tell how much I felt out of place coming back to Europe... but I realized my place was not in Africa either. Therefore I decided to come back to my roots when I retired, nevertheless I feel better alone hiking in nature, society and social life are not for me... or I am not fit for it, but since I know myself I am aware I don't fit almost anywhere... I have chosen this old digitalized photo because nowadays I don't feel comfortable photographing people; I would not like to be photographed so I guess if some don't care others do.
