Beach comber…

I was intending to take my gear and look for something to compose indoors. Down there it is hard with almost 40°C outside in my favorite photo ground uphills and at the beach it is so flooded with people that it is not inspiring at all.
When I go walk my dogs in the dunes before sunrise I only carry the iPhone, but when I saw this rabbit (in fact they were two but by the time I could shoot one was hidden) I thought that even if quality is lousy the composition and the feeling were the best I could get for this day!

Great to know your morning routine, but also this wonderful photo. I love the composition (hard to do with a rabbit to catch) and the tan coloring.

It shows that it's you, not the camera, which makes the photo. Do you often pre-decide to go take a photo, and then have your gear with you?

No, I usually let it happen… sometimes I have my gear sometimes not. Walking the dogs I have to keep on short leash does not make it easy so usually I just take my smartphone …

I imagine your dogs want to chase things like rabbits! My daughter has a dog that is a malamute/husky mix and that dog can pull like crazy!! I need two hands on the leash at all times. The dog is a sweetie though.
