Such a beautiful spot..........I like the calm water with the rocks and the abundant foliage surrounding it. The pink flowers in the foreground are rally lovely.

I like both PiPs.......the first one for the gorgeous light and the lovely trees on the river bank and the second for the amazing rocks and the beautiful background,.

Thanks Keith, We are not, it is on the Western coastal area of Algarve and Alentejo, 140km from us. Here vegetation is mostly bush, except for some pine areas but all is kept very clean so we hope if it gets to us it will be quickly eradicated.

Good to hear it Isabel...........but I feel for sorry for those who are affected :-(

Foi quase tudo lavrado, o campo está estéticamente horrível, tal foi a carecada. Mas pelo menos pouco resta para arder... salvo os tais pinheiros do programa !
O meu amigo Américo, o pastor, é em grande parte o autor disso, eu mando vir com ele e ele responde-me que eu também levei uma carecada (com o meu acidente do ano passado tive que cortar curto e assim ficou, super curto mesmo), tudo isto na reinação porque a amizade permite-nos estas liberdades verbais.
