But now the plant dried and is dead. I have a problem with almost all “flamed” species, I guess the air is too dry for them. They survive winters but loose roots and dry out in dry season, whatever quantity of water I give them… should have a moist conservatory for those species, but no place. So every year I keep a part of the plant in the bathroom of the floor below to keep it going and replant it in November…

Sounds very frustrating...........but I guess you have to choose your plants to suit the climate. It would help of course it the climate didn't keep changing so much!

Problem is we used to have some moist during Summer nights, little but enough to allow vegetation to thrive. Water (rain) in Summer is not welcome for nature, but moist was essential. The difference is there has been less and less every year, almost none this year...
