When I was in primary school someone gave us notebooks for me but they were not of the proper model, so my grandma used them to copy her recipes... I kept some loose sheets, they are all what I have left with her handwriting as I lost almost all my belongings in a flood 30 years ago.

I am more and more happy using only the Q2: I can take it all the time as not too bulky nor heavy and it performs in almost all situations...

It is awful, I lost precious ancient books, and more recent ones like the whole of Tintin's original editions, all my photographic gear except one because I had it lended to a friend, all my archives in paper but also photographs and negative films...
