Upper Derwent Valley October 2009

A wonderful Autumn walk on the East side of the Upper Derwent Valley in the Derbyshire part of the Peak District National Park. Starting at the Fairholmes Visitor Centre run my Severn Trent Water ( popular and very busy at times). Its possible to do some long circular walks and there is easy access to the open moorland but on this day the walk was along the eastern shoreline looking at the colours of the trees
