Never approached it from this side, always from Loch Coruisk or Sligachan,. Fine shot!

This was taken from what we call “The Midge Car Park” which I have been to a few times but not for long obviously, soon heading for the sea shore. Only once ever been to Loch Coruisk via small boat transfer from a Steamer trip, from Mallaig when I was 13 years old. It was something we never forgot as a family being dropped off and walking in to be surrounded be the mountains. Never climbed so I have never done more than approach walks but still very impressive from any angle

We always took the ferry from Elgol to the Scottish Mountaineering Club's hut situated between Lochs Scavaig and Coruisk where we sytayed for two weeks each time and had to carry our supplies in from where we left the car on the high pass between Camasunary The Bad Step; scary to look at but easier that it appeared!
