This reminds me of the Cat and Fiddle Inn on this road. I remember it was a biker's pub but very nice when I knew it (late 70s). I was sad to see just now that it is listed on Google as 'Permanently Closed'. Another victim of the changes in attitudes towards drink-driving, I suppose.

Yes I its a long time since I drove past but lots of the pubs have gone - it seems they just can't keep the monies coming in as everybody wants things cheaper and lower alcohol sales.
