comes with silly looking pheasants and one mutated desert plant. Mostly made of plant dyed yarn including nettle, madder and alder bark with iron oxide. Very good time of the year to knit warm woollen garments.

1st of June. Getting in touch with contact dyeing / eco printing a la India Flint. In the end it was easier to discard the sticks and just wrap the fabrics onto themselves. Also completely ignored the zen aspect of it and instead jumped on the bundles etc.

Onion

Dyeing cotton yarn with onion skins; by far the easiest method of natural dyeing, and the one I had never tried before. With wool yarn it produced everything between deep orange and golden yellow, and cotton yarn which got the rest of the bath turned out yellow - pale yellow.
