Anhinga with Catfish 2

This is the second in a series of 3. The anhinga is beginning the swallowing process after literally beating the catfish to death. I watched for a long time as he slapped/smacked the fish against the tree trunk. Then he would stop and if the catfish moved, he would start again to smack it around. He cannot swallow the fish until it is dead. As you will see in the next 2 images, he swallows the fish whole. Amazing to see!
