Außenwand des Klosters Gouverneto auf Kreta.

Das Kloster wurde 1548 gegründet. Die Mönche lebten zuvor im Kloster Katholiko (PiP), dem ältesten Kloster auf Kreta. Weil sie dort immer wieder von arabischen Piraten überfallen wurden, bauten sie das "neue" Kloster ein paar Kilometer weiter landeinwärts.
Die improvisierte Verkabelung ist erstaunlich.
