IHK Lüneburg (PiP)

Dieses imposante Treppengiebelhaus steht am zentralen Platz "Am Sande" in Lüneburg. Es wurde 1548 aus schwarz glasierten Backsteinen gebaut. Eigentlich sind es zwei Häuser. Das rechte Haus "Am Sande 1" wurde bis 1898 als Brauhaus genutzt. Heute befindet sich dort die Industrie- und Handelskammer. Das schmalere linke Haus "Am Sande 2" (PiP) wurde ebenfalls im 16. Jahrhundert im gleichen Stil gebaut.

A very attractive building..............until I read your narrative I didn't realise there were two houses, but when you look closely the subtle differences are there.

The details you've captured are excellent. The door in the PiP is very impressive, especially the stained glass.
