Die Natur hat hier einen wunderschönen Rastplatz aus Vulkangestein erschaffen. Die Einladung zu einer Rast nehmen wir gern an. Der Ausblick ist grandios. Meine Frau nähert sich respektvoll der steinernen Sitzbank am Abgrund.

La Palma hat viel Wald, aber Madeira hat ein üppigere Bodenvegetation. Auf La Palma war es allgemein sehr trocken. Wir haben sogar vertrocknete Kakteen gesehen. Wandern über den Wolken kann man auch auf Madeira.
