You stick a hard sugar lump in your mouth, put some coffee onto your saucer, and slurp it in (for better aeration?) then swish it about till it's sweet enough, swallow and repeat

I have not been able to capture the magical nature of the snow here, how it looks like diamond dust, both while falling and lying on the ground. Here's a leeeetle bit of sparkle

the surprise is that that they do not shatter when they freeze and you poke them - the become like think plastic and tear instead
