Konnte man leider nicht ! Überall große Schilder ‚Landschaftsschutzgebiet - Betreten nicht erlaubt‘; so haben wir ihn umrundet; was auch sehr viel Spaß gemacht hat und von der Anstrengung eigentlich auch für unsere Möglichkeiten durchaus anspruchsvoll genug war.

Oh! Is that in the Canary Islands? I have a distant cousin who lives there. I didn't know there was a volcano there - and so close to the town by the water (if the map is right). Very cool (or hot! ha!). An excellent dramatic photo.

Teneriffa is an Island with a lot of volcanos. This one is really near the town which was destroyed by him not long ago ( 1706 ). And he’s only sleeping like many of the other ones on the island.
