Peace and beauty

Far North Pakistan, in the Pamirs. One of the many breathtakingly beautiful valleys in these remote regions. It is very sparsely populated as the land is quite daunting in a zone of frequent seismic activity, landslides and rockfalls, which is also under heavy snow and cut off for much of the year.

I am off there again in 10 days time to explore some remote valleys bordering Afghanistan among other things.

Such a beautiful view..............the snow capped mountains and the gorgeous blue sky make a wonderful backdrop.

a fabulous capture like always!!!! like a lot admiring these landscapes that you share with us here dearest Diana.
l beg your pardon for not having visiting your pages more often but l'm very very aged now and my back, all my back makes me suffer. I can't sit in front of my laptop for very long because the screen is too small and wears out my eyes and my spine.
