Flying Fox wings
A set of images of Australian Grey-headed Flying Foxes stretching their wings while at rest and flying over. Getting good flying shots between the trees is tricky as such flights are usually brief and very random. These are Australia's largest bats, with a wingspan of up to 1 metre. Best viewed large.

tiabunna club has replied to Xata clubWe only tend to see them at night here though, and they are so much smaller, - mostly pipistrelles. Lovely to see these big beauties out in the light. They really do look like little foxes!
Beautiful images, beautifully captured
A wonderful and interesting picture, which I like very much!
Very nice so see these animals which we know nothing of here.
Our bats only come out at dusk, and are so quick that you can't get a photo, other than by luck.
Best Wishes, a nice weekend, and stay safe!!
Peter
